After a special tool is used to compress the “ear” (sold separately), constant pressure is applied to squeeze the hose over the barb. Once installed, the clamp will never have to be re-tightened, making it superior to common worm-drive clamps. These clamps have 5mm and 7mm wide bands, and are available in packs of ten for 1/4”, 5/16”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8”, and 3/4” rubber push-lock or socketless hose. Please reference sizing chart below.
